It is a traditional custom for Chinese to celebrate Winter Solstice Festival on 22nd Dicember. So this year I had a chance to join in event - 十万汤圆庆团圆 that organized by Guang Ming Daily at memorial centre of Sun Yat Sen.
There were so crowd. All people are kinda enjoy it. To eat free Tang Yuan of course. No joke. There are 8 stalls that gave out free Tang Yuan to everybody. You could see how those people desperate for Tang Yuan. Okie. Is still fine maybe we could only feel the festive season once a year. Hahahahaha. Or these was just the culture of grabbing free stuff without queue up.
Talked back to the Tang Yuan. As I mentioned before there have 8 different native land from China like Te-ow Chew, Cantonese and etc. I had the chance to try those Tang Yuan too. To my surprised those Tang Yuan can be categorized into sweet Tang Yuan and salty Tang Yuan. Of course I prefer sweet. ♥
Found out an interesting Hong eliminate cold map. Nine characters per word designated a total of nine Hong eighty-one program. Also can be called as Written Nine.
Kinda hard to understand but it is actually a calendar for those native people to count date from winter solstice.
It is fun to know more into our own tradition culture. And finalist wishing you all a early Happy Winter Solstice and Merry Christmas too. ♥
God bless.
Signing out with holiday mood.
